A series of EVPs were captured at Hotel Conneaut, Conneaut Lake Park, PA, by a team approach from Allegheny County Paranormal and Steel City Ghost Hunters in this April 21, 2011, YouTube upload.

I've noticed - over time - that a common EVP that pops up again and again with various investigations - is the "get out" EVP. And you'll see one on this video presentation too. That kind of makes me wonder and not sure how to interpret where these voices are coming from and what they mean. And if I actually heard that during the investigation, I might actually leave.

Before Hotel Conneaut, there as the Expositions Hotel. One wing of this hotel was used to build the newer Hotel Conneaut in 1903 - the same structure that stands today. The original hotel boasted 300 rooms - room rates were a dollar a day - and meals a mere 35 cents.

But on April 29, 1943, the hotel was struck by lightning and the subsequent fire destroyed more than half of the roof. The damaged section was taken down, and the hotel was rebuilt as a 150-room hotel. This is the last surviving hotel of originally more than a dozen hotels at this site. Investigators include Nikki Weisbrod, Becky Dillen, and Tim Dillen. The investigation was completed on April 16, 2011.
